LEARN THE THEORY OF PAINTINGS CLEANING
In this theoretical seminar by Aqqerva, you will delve into all aspects related to the cleaning of paintings and polychromy from the ground up. Beginning with the study of families of the main organic solvents used in restoration, including the factors influencing the solvent power of a liquid, to exploring the types of thickeners that have emerged in recent years in this field. Additionally, this course covers other crucial aspects such as pH control and contemporary cleaning alternatives when restoring the pictorial layers of an artwork. As an online course, you can progress at your own pace from the comfort of your home. Geared towards beginners, this course is ideal if you feel you have limited knowledge in this field or wish to acquire new information. Focused on this specific subject, you will discover the foundations, techniques, and proven methods necessary to master it. You can review the content as many times as needed. This course is designed for conservators, restorers, or students of Conservation and Restoration, and in all cases, proof of this condition is required through an official degree or similar document.
